Amazon has recently confirmed that the Kindle DX will be shipped internationally during 2010. The DX which has a larger screen of 9.7 inches compared to the Kindle which has 6 inches will be available internationally “sometime next year” according to company spokesman Drew Herdener.
Meanwhile Amazon will start shipping the smaller Kindle internationally on October 19 and that is including the Philippines. Those who want to get their hands on this ebook reader be prepared to pay $279 plus shipping and import taxes or that is a little over Php 13,000. Amazon is already accepting pre order so if you are interested you might as well do the reservation now.
