It is not only electronics, gadgets and computers that are evolving and changing in technology. Wedding or engagement ring also has its own evolution.

Like the color, it is nice to have a white band around your finger than gold. Yes you can have the gold plated to white but still it will tarnish. Unlike platinum it will retain its luster forever. Also if you will have diamonds on a ring, no better metal holds it more securely than platinum. Gold tends to become softer as the carat increases. And lastly, since platinum is 30 times more rare than gold, your beloved someone will really be getting a one of a kind ring, something really special that not everyone has.

If you want it to last a lifetime, get a platinum ring.
