The Nintendo DS will have a new version that will be available in Japan stores by November 1. The Nintendo DSi device will come with a digital camera that will let players mix images, scribble on photos and create new faces.The improved DSi is thinner than the current DS model, and will have a bigger screen. Expect to pay $180 for the new model.

Technology buffs and gadget geeks outside Japan will still have to wait next year though since it will not be available overseas till then.
