Polaroid is living to its name in making pictures instantly. Way back when digital cameras are still unknown to us, that’s the time when we used the traditional film to capture precious moments, Polaroid was the first name that will cross our minds when in comes to getting pictures instantly. Then comes the digital age wherein there are so many cameras that can choose from which can display your pictures right after you took it. I thought that was the end of Polaroid. We don’t use that camera anymore. But then here comes Polaroid’s Pogo, or Polaroid-on-the-go, a pocket-sized, inkless digital photo printer that produces full-color photos.
PoGo uses Bluetooth (Class 2) OPP USB 2.0 USB A connector, that means you can use your mobile phone in printing using Bluetooth or any other devices that are PictBridge compatible. The photo printer just weighs 8 oz (without paper) including battery. Its dimension is 120mm (4.7”) H X 72mm (2.8”) W X 23.5mm (0.9”) D. It also uses ZINK™ Zero Ink™ Printing Technology that means you just need the paper and no ink at all. Prints are made in 2x3" borderless color images in under a minute.
PoGo was introduced last January and will be available by July.
